Moin, moin!

Finally the wonderful and beautiful winter is over. It was bright and friendly because of the snow we get from the nature so that it doesn't become dull and dark in this long season. Let's see it as this, as a present, because light revives our mind. What was so beautiful during this winter? Its slowness. The winter forced us to decelerate our hectic life. And we shouldn't stop with it "fast".

So, how about a "deceleration day" in our Birke Day Spa? In April we offer our amazing Mare Balticum and a back massage for EUR 35.00 (instead of EUR 42.00). A combination of body peeling and body package: wonderful algae gel which supplies moisture, calming remedial chalk from Ruegen and fine peeling sea sand and at the end a relaxing back massage with warm algae oil. Maybe our new co-host Carolin Strietzel is there for you. The trained cosmetician was drawn back to the North after she worked in Bavaria. "I wanted to go where the beach, the sea and the wideness are because I love that so much!", admitted the young woman from Stralsund who is now supporting the Birke team with beauty treatments and massages.

And what is new in the Fischers Fritz? Our head chef Pierre Binder is really busy with preparing the Easter brunch for Easter Sunday and the 3- and 4-course menus for Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. Besides the feinheimisch fillet of pike-perch the lamb from the Landschlachterei Burmeister from Viöl is available. The lambs come from an outer dike sheep farm which means that they browse from March till October on the dikes and the foreshore of the North Sea, the salt meadow.

Good Friday has been the date of founding of the Fischers Fritz fish market. Today it is already popular so that we have it every month. On Good Friday, 2. April, even 2 times, for lunch from 11.30 and for dinner from 18:00. We serve fresh sea food specialities on ice at your choice from the varied offer from the Baltic and North Sea, our lakes and the North Atlantic which we prepare according to your wishes and together with regional and seasonal vegetables and potatoes. As a starter you get cold Northern German sea food specialities and for dessert a great selection from our buffet (EUR 34.50 per person inclusive starter, fish dish at your choice and dessert buffet).
