I recently read a wonderful sentence: the feeling of security is more than a roof over the head.
More fitting you can’t describe what we give you in the hotel Birke. Comfort, well-being, quietness, being cared of, security. A place to relax. Where can you get this better than in a family-run hotel like ours? And when is it more intense than at this time which is getting close to Christmas very fast?
Christmas is all around.
We arranged fairy lights and fir trees, Christmas music, lots of candle-light and delicious menus for you. Book your Christmas party last minute with us. Head chef Pierre Binder put regional delicacies on the menu: fresh game from Detlef von Bülow’s Gut Bossee, Nordstrand lamb from the Landschlachterei Burmeister from Viöl, tasty mushrooms from Salzau, apples from the Obstquelle Raisdorf and many more. Our Fischers Fritz is open on all Christmas Days. On 25 and 26 December we have traditionally 3- and 4-course menus for lunch and dinner. Give away a piece of “Birke”. We have for all our offers and events in the hotel, in the restaurant Fischers Fritz or in the Birke Day Spa many different gift vouchers for you. A product from the wine cellar or from our beauty assortment. A voucher for a pampering weekend or for our popular Slow Food cookery courses. Someone will probably also be happy about the participation at our famous Wine & Dine event. The next one will take place in March. Stylish New Year’s Eve
Maybe you surprise your partner or friends with an invitation to our popular Birke New Year’s Eve Gala. In the noble decorated rooms artists of the Kiel opera ensemble under the direction of pianist and conductor Michael Nündel present a musical potpourri of operetta, chanson and musical. In addition you’ll get a welcome cocktail, a delicious speciality 5-course menu and a snack at midnight for EUR 115.00 per person. Singing at Saint Nicholas Day
I am looking forward to the Christmassy singing session of the Hasseldieksdamm community in the evening of 6 December in front of our door. You’ll get mulled wine and cookies. And the comforting feeling we are all longing for: the feeling of security.
