Spring! Just the word effects you to feel sunny and released. Sometimes there are snowflakes getting lost but anyways, we know spring is coming up: days are longer, warm air attracts us to go outside, clothes get lighter and life somehow as well. March is the starting shoot to get rid of the winter fatigue and to start being more active, right!? Therefore our Hotel Birke offers best possibilities: you will like our daily outdoor sports program. And Nordic Walking turns out to be one of the top activities. Our Day Spa does not only attract with different saunas and a swimming pool but offers vitalizing cosmetic treatments and massages. Besides spring-time, we welcome a new specialist in our wellness area: Susanna Frühling. The mother of two is certified masseuse with a special knowledge in small rod and point-press massages. Maybe you like to combine your stay with our top event in March. To our Wine & Dine No. 28 on 19th of March we invited Patrick Johner, wine grower and wine connoisseur from Baden-Wurttemberg. His family runs a vineyard in Bischoffingen, South Germany and another one in Wairarapa, New Zealand close to Wellington. Starting at 7 p.m. Patrick Johner will present 12 of his wines from both vineyards. In addition, the team of the Fischers Fritz serves a noble 6-course menu, prepared of fresh seasonal and regional products. You can order your tickets at a price of EUR 89.00 per person under 0049 (0)431-5331-444. The price includes an aperitif, a 6-course menu, 12 wines and mineral water. If you feel like staying afterwards, we offer you our special arrangement “Wine & Dine Weekend” for EUR 156.00 in a business double room including accommodation, breakfast buffet and use of our wellness area.

Janne Olaf Rehder from the goat farm Rehder will present various information about his lamb breeding. Since the goats are only fed with hay, fresh grass and barley the milk and cheese specialties are genuine.
